We are excited to announce we have re-enabled the feature to control AWS Tax in partner billing. This feature is now available on the Admin>Settings page in your partner tenant and can be used to control the option to filter out AWS tax line items through partner billing for all your customer tenants.

The ‘Across Regions’ toggle in Cost Reallocation, which was earlier switched off for all customers, has now been officially removed from the Cost Reallocation page and we will no longer support this feature. Alternatively, customers can reallocate cost ‘By Accounts’ and ‘Across Accounts’ to achieve the reallocation spanning regions attached to accounts.
Please find the change in the UI as seen below.

To give customers more time, we are extending the cutover date to the new set of Azure APIs until February 1, 2023. This will allow January to close on the old billing pipeline, and February and beyond to start on the new. Customers must update their Service Principal(s) and Enrollment(s) to contain the enrollmentReader permission by February 1st or they will experience a disruption in service.
In February, we will be adding support for Azure Savings Plans. This will include direct cost and composition reporting, policies, and support for use of these plans in Perspectives. If you are interested in being a part of the beta program for Azure Savings Plans, please reach out to your Technical Account Manager.
The following GCP resources will be available in the platform shortly: “GCP Logging Log Buckets” & “GCP SQL Database Instances”. In order to prepare for these new resources, please update the GCP service account that accesses CloudHealth to contain the below permissions:
logging.buckets.get
logging.buckets.list
cloudsql.instances.list
cloudsql.instances.get
We are introducing a new layout for the GCP asset page, similar to what we have for AWS and Azure, to bring uniform user experience while accessing the asset reports across clouds. Instead of a growing left navigation under ‘Assets’, we will now have all existing and upcoming new assets on the same page. We are also moving the ‘Attached Disks’ from the shared asset section; we will now feature ‘Attached Disks’ under the ‘Compute’ section on the new asset page.

CloudHealth now supports deleting Azure Managed Disks through our policy engine. This action is now available when selecting the Azure “Disk” resource type. To use this policy action, you will need to add the following permission:
“Microsoft.Compute/disks/delete”

The following AWS regions are now supported in the platform. Users will see these new regions appear in the Cost History and Asset Reports.
