The Convertible Reserved Instance Exchanger is a tool that helps you recoup savings from underutilized convertible RIs in your AWS infrastructure while limiting additional investment. In the second half of last year, the release of Convertible RI exchange recommendations was a huge success. Today, we are happy to announce public beta of automation for exchanging Convertible RIs. You are now able to leverage the Convertible RI Exchanger to:
Provide exchange recommendations
Execute those exchanges
Track their progress
Report on completed exchanges
All of this in a single workflow! For more information, review the configuration documentation in our Help Center!

We are happy to announce the public beta of two new Azure CSP cost reports, Current Billing Period Cost and Previous Billing Period Cost. Microsoft billing periods and CloudHealth billing periods are typically different so we wanted to bridge the gap for our partners by providing a way for you to report on cost based on your own unique Microsoft billing period from within the CloudHealth platform.

In the CloudHealth Data Center module, we will be changing the naming of certain items to more accurately reflect what they are and also to support a deeper integration with vCenter in the future. We will be renaming `Data Center` accounts to `Other Accounts` and the `Servers` asset to `Machines`, since this can be a virtual or physical machine.
Currently, you can manage your cost reallocation rules for indirect charges and Perspectives along with your containers cost distribution rules. While all of these rules leverage the same CloudHealth backend, we’ve moved the container specific cost reallocation rules to their own page in the Containers section of the CloudHealth platform. As a result, you can add new clusters, deploy the CloudHealth collector, and configure your cost distribution rules all in one menu. The new Containers Cost Distribution is accessible under Setup > Containers > Cost Distribution.
