Through March and April, we will roll out changes to our platform user interface to reflect the new product name: VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth. Key areas of the platform that will be updated include:
March updates:
Policy and invitation emails
Mentions of CloudHealth in the UI (e.g., information banner)
CloudHealth Academy relabeled Training Academy
April updates:
Login page layout and logo
Subscription emails
Top navigation
Our integration with other VMware Aria family products: vRealize Operations will become VMware Aria Operations, and Wavefront will become VMware Aria Operations for Applications.
Please note that parts of the platform have already been updated, including automated emails, the lefthand side of the login screen, and tab naming.

On April 6, 2023, we will begin migrating CloudHealth product documentation to VMware Docs under VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth.
All product documentation currently in the CloudHealth Help Center will be migrated to VMware Docs site on April 6th. The existing CloudHealth Help Center will be functional for another year, however, content will no longer be updated or maintained there after April 6th; All subsequent content will be updated and published only on the VMware Docs site.
We will continue supporting Product Updates, GraphQL and REST API documentation on the CloudHealth Help Center until further notice.

We are excited to announce the general availability of Kubernetes (request-based) Rightsizing. This feature is currently available for users on AWS, and we plan to add support for more clouds, as well as cost data, as part of future enhancements. Our Kubernetes rightsizing engine helps application developers set appropriate CPU and Memory requests for their Kubernetes containers by giving a recommended range. Recommended ranges are based on customizable efficiency targets for CPU and Memory, and an analysis of past usage.
Since the public beta release two weeks ago, we have added the ability to group recommendations by cluster or by namespace. These recommendations can also be generated and consumed programmatically via our GraphQL APIs; please check our Kubernetes Rightsizing API Doc for details.
Benefits:
FinOps/CCoE teams: Centralized cloud management teams can export rightsizing recommendations and deliver them to application owners.
Application Developer: Application owners will see the subset of clusters they have access to (via FlexOrgs) and can combine their knowledge of those workloads with our recommendations to determine appropriate requests for CPU and Memory.
Business: Reducing outsized container requests means fewer compute nodes will need to be provisioned, saving the business money on compute resources.
Learn more about Kubernetes Rightsizing in our Help Center article.

All GCP resources in the platform now support event-based collection. This new collection and processing system is moving out of public beta and is now officially GA. All future GCP resources will be released with full support for event-based collection and processing.
We are excited to announce the Public Beta release of three new FlexReports templates for Azure Cost Management data. The three new templates are:
Monthly Actual Cost & Usage of Subscriptions – provides the total monthly actual cost and usage of all Azure Subscriptions, grouped by consumed service and account type, for the last 6 months.
Monthly Amortized Cost & Usage of Subscriptions – provides the total monthly amortized cost & usage of all Azure Subscriptions, grouped by consumed service and account type, for last 6 months.
Monthly Savings Plan Amortized Cost of Subscriptions – provides the total monthly savings plan amortized cost of all Azure Subscriptions, grouped by consumed service and account type, for last 6 months.
With these templates, users can jumpstart using FlexReports without creating a new one from scratch. Users can also edit the templates and save the edited versions as new reports.

We’ve heard your feedback! In the following weeks, Governance and its sub-pages will be pulled out of the Setup section and moved to a new top-level section in the navigation pane, after Recommendations and before Setup.
