Update to Azure Partner Billing Rules

Partners now have the ability to add a custom line item to invoices based on percentage of spend. Learn more about managing Microsoft Azure CSP Partner Billing Rules in this Help Center article.

Azure Storage Cost and Usage Reports

We are excited to announce two new reports for the CloudHealth Azure Platform, the Storage Cost Report and the Storage Usage Report. These reports provide cost and usage information for all services under a Storage Account, including Blobs, Queues, Tables, Files, and more.

Learn more about the cost and usage reports in these Help Center articles.

Deprecation of GCP Usage Reports

Due to historical and upcoming changes introduced by Google, we will be deprecating the Predefined Compute InstanceCompute Instance Hours, and Usage Statements Usage Reports on July 8th. At that time, these reports will no longer be available.

Upcoming Change to Google Billing Exports

When multiple billing accounts write their billing CSV or JSON export to the same bucket with the same prefix, Google will now automatically update the prefix of the billing exports to be unique. So that there is no interruption in cost data in CloudHealth, you will need to update your prefix configuration in CloudHealth when Google makes this change to reflect the new prefix. We expect Google to make this change within the next few weeks.

Support for GCP GKE Clusters and Static IPs

We have recently added collection and reporting for GKE Clusters and Static IPs. These asset types are now available across the platform including Perspectives and Policies. If you are utilizing a custom role, you will need to add two permissions:

  • Container.clusters.list

  • compute.addresses.list

New GCP Unattached Static IP Policy Condition

We have added a policy condition to identify Compute Static IPs that are not attached to an instance. This will help you identify wasted resources to decrease your cloud costs.
