Partner Billing Support for Azure Enterprise Agreements - Private Beta

We’re excited to announce that partner billing support for Enterprise Agreements (EAs) is in private beta! Through this new feature, you’ll be able to configure an EA at the partner level and then assign a subset of the subscriptions to customer tenants. Most importantly, CloudHealth will only report on the costs associated with the subscriptions assigned to those customer tenants. In addition to being able to assign the subscriptions, you’ll also be able to create billing rules at a per subscription basis. This way, you’ll be able to specify at a more granular level which subscriptions the rules should be applied to.

If you’re interested in this private beta, please email ea-partner-billing@groups.vmware.com to determine eligibility.

GCP BigQuery Cost History Report - Coming Soon

We’ll be releasing a new BigQuery cost report over the next few weeks. This will give you visibility into your costs at a daily granularity and will be more than 24 hours closer to real time than the current Cost History Report. For those with BigQuery already configured in the platform, no changes are needed. For those who have not yet configured BigQuery, please do that as soon as possible using the documentation in this Help Center article

Update to AWS Savings Plan Recommendations - Public Beta

CloudHealth AWS Savings Plan Recommendations, currently in public beta, can help you decide the right Compute Savings Plan commitment for you by not only providing a recommendation, but by also providing a framework that allows you to build what-if scenarios and find the risk/reward balance that is right for you based on your KPIs. This week we introduced an enhancement that can help you plan for the month ahead, by having the option to also include EC2, Fargate, or Lambda usage that is currently covered by RIs or Savings Plans that will expire in the next 30 days.

New AWS Indirect Costs

We have added indirect cost categorization for Amazon Managed Blockchain, Amazon Managed Apache Cassandra Service, Amazon Personalize, Amazon Textract, AWS Backup, AWS Outposts, AWS Transfer Family, AWS Transit Gateway, VMware Cloud on AWS, and Contact Lens for Amazon Connect. These services are now represented as their own Indirect Costs, which can be assigned to Perspective Groups using cost reallocation rules. Previously, these charges were included under Indirect service item - ‘Other’.
