Partner | Support for Non-USD Currency in GCP Partner Billing

We have enhanced our GCP partner billing engine to support non-USD currency. You can now configure a non-USD currency master billing account in the partner tenant and when billing accounts are assigned to customer tenants, the currency for those customer tenants will be updated. 

Japanese Localization – Now Available 

Japanese translations of the CloudHealth platform and Help Center are now available. This feature will turn common strings found throughout the platform into native Japanese terms and phrases, enabling it to be easier to share the platform with our ever-growing international communities.   Disclaimer: Commonly known terms and user defined labels won’t be translated into Japanese.

GCP Non-Project Cost Reallocation Option

The ‘Disable GCP Non-Project Cost Reallocation’ toggle gives users an opportunity to stop the default non-project billing account cost reallocation and keep that cost at the billing account level under the ‘Unknown Projects.’ This would work only on a forward-going basis and we recommend using this cautiously as backfilling and adjustment are not supported.

The switch will appear at the admin setting section as below:

New Policy Action – Delete AWS RDS Snapshots

We have released support for deleting AWS RDS Snapshots through our policy engine. This is now an available action when selecting the RDS Snapshot resource type. To use this policy action, you’ll need to add the following permission to each account’s IAM policy: “rds:DeleteDBSnapshot."

Deprecation of ‘Across Regions’ Toggle in Cost Reallocation – Coming Soon

We will be deprecating the ‘Across Regions’ toggle in Cost Reallocation effective September 31, 2022. The ‘Across Regions’ toggle does not change any reallocated costs at the account level, and only further splits the account costs at the region level (within each account), so there is no overall impact.
