We’re excited to announce the general availability of Custom Line Items! Custom Line Items provide an enriched experience that allows you to manipulate costs directly in the platform in order to perform chargeback and showback.
Key capabilities:
This is a multi-cloud capability across AWS, Azure and GCP which allows you to insert charges or credits with a one-time or recurring frequency.
You can remove costs such as Tax, VAT, Support etc. and add the appropriate uplift against accounts for better financial control.
In addition to an enriched UI experience, you will also be able to create, modify, and delete Custom Line Items via Public API.
You will be able to add charges (flat amount or %) based on Services, Service Items, Accounts etc.
You can exclude prepays while performing uplift/charge.
Uplift on Amortized cost is an added provision within Custom Line Items.
You can now create multiple custom line items per cloud (increased from 90 to 300 across all clouds).
At this time, Custom Line Items requires FlexOrgs in the Top Level OU or for the tenant to be fully FlexOrgs enabled. TLOU customers can create, edit, and delete rules which will flow down to Sub-Orgs. Sub-Org users can view the rules as part of this delivery.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has been discouraging the use of service accounts keys in P12 or PKCS 12 format. Because of this, we have decided to discontinue support for PKCS12 or P12 service account keys. If you have a GCP billing account or Project configured with a service account with P12 as the key type, you’ll need to re-configure the key on GCP with a JSON format key and upload the JSON private key to CloudHealth. This re-configuration needs to be completed by August 31, 2021. More information on creating a service account with JSON as the key format can be found in the Help Center.
