In order to begin support for our upcoming functionality around applying billing rules to Enterprise Agreements (EA), we have updated the Azure Spend columns on the Partner Customer List Report.
The CSP Spend and Margin will be tracked in separate columns called 'Azure CSP Spend' and 'Azure CSP Margin'. We will track YTD/MTD and last months margin and spend. The Margin value will track the difference between Azure List Price and the partner discount as well as any billing credits or charges that have been applied.

We are excited to announce the release of Data Archiving for OLAP reports. This feature will allow customers to opt-in to automatic monthly archiving of our reports across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Data Center. Once opt-ed in, CloudHealth will begin to collect historical data for your account, allowing you to retrieve data that would otherwise no longer be visible via our UI or APIs. Archiving will occur on the 21st of each month after your previous month’s bill has finalized. This will unlock reporting over longer time periods than 13 months. Additionally, this data will be exportable via all currently supported methods.
Retrieving archived data is useful for these types of analyses:
Year-over-year (YoY) trends analysis
Quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) trends analysis
Understanding why costs changed without analyzing old saved reports
Auditing your costs against publicly reported numbers

As previously announced, we have updated costs for Amazon S3 Intelligent Tier. Previously, these costs were included in the indirect cost item called ‘AWS S3’. Going forward, costs associated with S3 Intelligent Tier will be distributed into the following direct charges:
S3 - Intelligent Tier
S3 - Intelligent Tier Infrequent Access
S3 - Intelligent Tier Monitoring and Automation
This change will be applicable to cost allocation for the past 13 months. We recommend that you update your reallocation rules for any ‘AWS S3’ indirect charge. We have also added support for S3 Intelligent Tier in S3 usage and metrics reports. These reports will show Intelligent Tier data point in time forward.

We have recently added collection and reporting for Azure SQL Database Managed Instances and Azure IOT Hubs. These asset types are now available across the platform including the Activity Feed, Perspectives, and policies.
Azure Virtual Machine Rightsizing now reflects discounts that Microsoft provides as part of an Enterprise Agreement. This helps reflect the “true” savings when downgrading over-provisioned and underutilized machines.
We have added additional columns to Azure SQL Database Rightsizing, including:
Server Name
Resource Group
Subscription ID
Subscription Name
Region

Based on customer feedback, we have found that enterprises commonly do not want to manage their cost drivers at granular level, and instead they would like to provide the fixed costs for their entire Data Center. For example, if your facility spend is $3M, you may be looking for flexibility in cost driver to enter a single number rather than splitting it out for each vCenter.
The following cost drivers are now capable of consuming and distributing fixed costs: License, Facilities, Maintenance, Labor, and Network.

We’ve enhanced our Organizations functionality to better assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of how users access CloudHealth.
As your cloud usage grows over time, the way that accounts are assigned to Organizations can change dramatically. The CloudHealth Organizations API now lets you assign accounts to an Organization and modify the accounts within that Organization over time.
