New Automatic Redirect

We're thrilled to introduce a new release aimed at enhancing your user session experience. Following a successful login, when you click on or paste a product page link, the system will now directly take you to that specific page instead of redirecting you to the main dashboard. In the event of a session timeout that leads to you being logged out, upon logging back in, you'll be seamlessly returned to the same page you were previously viewing. However, when you intentionally log out, you will be directed to the main dashboard.

Updates to FlexReports – Additional AWS Templates and Pagination with Record Count

We have added two new FlexReport templates for AWS:

  • Monthly AWS Effective Compute Cost Per Hour - This AWS FlexReport template provides the effective compute cost per hour, including discounts.

  • Monthly AWS Effective Cost Per vCPU - This AWS FlexReport template provides the effective compute cost per vCPU, including discounts.

Pagination with Record Count In FlexReport templates, you can now see the count of the records (500 records per page) in a saved FlexReport with pagination in place, along with a sophisticated search functionality which allows you to search the entire saved FlexReport.

Deprecation of Azure Enterprise Agreement Dataset – Coming Soon

Microsoft’s Azure Enterprise Agreement API is slated for deprecation the first week of October 2023. In preparation for this change, we announced the public beta release of the new ‘Azure Cost Management’ dataset on February 9, 2023. This new dataset covers more subscription types and data fields compared to the old ‘Azure Enterprise Agreement’ dataset. Today we are reminding users of the upcoming deprecation of ‘Azure Enterprise Agreement’ dataset. If you are already using the new dataset, there is no further action required.

Changes you may notice post deprecation include:

  • While creating new FlexReports, you will not see the ‘Azure Enterprise Agreement’ dataset anymore. Instead, please select ‘Azure Cost Management’ dataset. This is now the default dataset for Azure, and it provides all the same fields as the old dataset, plus offers new data fields.

  • All your existing saved reports will continue to work. You can still edit saved reports that were created using the deprecated dataset, but the addition of new fields from the new dataset into those reports are restricted.
