Preview of New CloudHealth User Interface Styling

We are excited to announce that we will be rolling out a style change to the CloudHealth Platform user interface over the next few days. To experience the preview of the new styling, you must click on the User Dropdown Menu, and select “Try the New Design.” You will have the ability to seamlessly switch back and forth. We welcome your feedback!

Partner Platform GovCloud Support

CloudHealth now supports GovCloud account processing in our Partner Generated Billing (PGB) Engine. Partners can now associate a GovCloud account to a commercial account, which allows PGB to properly allocate reservation usage and deliver accurate billing totals.

For more information on configuring GovCloud accounts through PGB, see the CloudHealth API doc titled, Connect GovCloud Commercial Account to GovCloud Asset Account.

Multi-Dimensional Reporting via API -- Private Beta

CloudHealth is excited to announce that we now support the ability to access data in novel ways using a SQL-like interface (CloudHealth Query Language.) Users will be able to group, order, and filter data to create custom reports. Users can get cost, amortized cost, and usage  after grouping by Perspective data across multiple columns. For example, you can see Operating System, Region, ServiceType, ChargeType, and more, and tag information for all line items in bill.

This functionality is available via API. If you would like to participate in this private beta, please contact vishal@cloudhealthtech.com to get more information.

Modification to InterActive Reports -- Now Live

We recently released an enhancement to InterActive Reports to default data to most-recent-right to match the format of the charts and removed the toggle to change the sort order of the data. With this release, we have added the option back to toggle the data and see most-recent-left. Additionally, the data display preference will be stored and reflected in saved reports, CSVs, as well as subscriptions.

Cost Allocation by DBR Tags for Additional AWS Services -- Coming Soon

As previously announced, we are developing a more comprehensive approach for extracting asset attributes from bills to allocate costs for taggable AWS services.

We will now be using the tags and resource ID from your Detailed Billing Report (DBR) to automatically allocate AWS Direct Connect, Amazon Glacier, Amazon Cognito, and Amazon Cloud Directory costs and assets to the appropriate Perspective groups. This allocation will be applicable to the past 13 months as well. We recommend that you save your cost and usage reports for reference. If you haven’t already, please enable all the tags in your DBR that you use for Perspectives.

Learn more about activating user-defined cost allocation tags in this AWS Documentation article.
