Update to Azure Cost History for Shared Scope Reservations - Now Available for Azure Plan and Modern Commerce Enterprise

In our last release, we announced an update for Azure Enterprise Agreement (EA) customers. Today, we are releasing updated support for shared scope reservations for Azure Plan and Modern Commerce Enterprise customers! Starting with September, you’ll now see your shared scope reservation charges under the purchasing subscription, instead of categorized under “Not Available”. We also will now be deriving the subscription values from the bill, so you do not need to configure all subscriptions with a service principal for this to be available.

Updates to Amazon ECS on EC2 Reporting - Now Available

As previously announced, we have released significant improvements to the performance and scale of our ECS on EC2 Reporting. With this update all customers of ECS should expect:

  • Faster load times for ECS Resources and Allocation Reports.

  • Extended data timeline (13 months) for ECS Resources and Allocation Reports, and Containers Cost Distribution in the Containers Cost History Report for ECS on EC2 environments.

  • Updated configuration and terminology of usage reports: Task Family and Task are no longer configurable reporting buckets but instead will take on their inherent meaning. Registered CPU and Memory resources, also used by containers cost distribution, will no longer be labeled “Used CPU” and “Used Memory” but rather “Registered CPU” and “Registered Memory.” Note: These changes mean saved bookmarks, saved reports, and subscriptions may need to be updated for ECS Resources and ECS Allocation Reports.

  • Improvements to data aggregation.

  • For dimensions exceeding 1000, usage reports will show the first 1000 dimension members and group the rest under ‘Other’ for more responsive reporting.

Update to Amazon Name Column in Account Setup

The Amazon Name column in the Setup > Accounts > AWS page is the name of the account in AWS.  This is separate from the name given to the account in CloudHealth.  This name was previously derived from the AWS Billing Statement, but that is no longer accessible to the CloudHealth platform. Recently, a change was made to populate this column with information returned from the AWS Organizations API. This column will now only be populated for AWS Accounts associated with AWS Organizations.
