Kubernetes Overview Report — Public Beta

We are pleased to announce the public beta of the CloudHealth Kubernetes Overview Report. Kubernetes cost and usage visibility is critical for organizations when allocating costs for chargeback or showback reporting, or identifying cost or usage spikes in your environment. To that end, we have brought together key reports in the platform to a central location, the Kubernetes Overview Report, available in the CloudHealth AWS, Azure, and GCP modules.

Update to Interactive Reports — Summing Cost Measures

We have released the capability to sum cost measures available in any CloudHealth Interactive Report. A primary use case for this new feature is combining cost and amortized cost into a single measure to represent a fully loaded cost measure. This feature is also available in the Reporting API.

Support for Additional Amazon EC2 Instances

AWS recently announced the latest updates to the EC2 Instance family tree: m5n, m5dn, r5n, r5dn families and a1.metal, u-18tb1.metal, u-24tb1.metal instance sizes. These new sizes and instances are now supported across the platform including cost and usage reports, amortization, Reserved Instance recommendations, Perspectives, rightsizing, and policies.

Update to Azure Health Check Immediate Savings

The Immediate Savings Section of the Azure Health Check Pulse Report now includes unused IP Addresses and App Service Plans.

New Indirect Cost — VAT Tax

We have added indirect cost categorization for VAT Tax. These charges are now represented as their own Indirect Cost, which could be assigned to Perspective Groups using cost reallocation rules. Previously, these charges were included under Indirect Cost - Tax.
