We’re excited to announce private beta for our new Anomaly Detection engine for AWS cost anomalies. Using anomaly detection, you can view unexpected changes in spend by region, account, and service. We offer a 90-day window into all anomalies so you can understand trends in behavior, including views into the cost impacts of the service, helping you pinpoint the most severe anomalies in your environment.

Anomaly Detection uniquely provides protection against most forms of false positives by using machine learning algorithms that adjust to periodic, seasonal, or other patterns that might be expected for workloads. This feature also allows each user to provide feedback on the correctness of the anomaly and the algorithm, training the system to become smarter over time. After you enroll in the beta, the algorithm will be active in your account, and your history will be used to train the algorithm.

We plan to add Azure and GCP support soon. We will also allow you to perform root-cause analysis by passing from the anomaly into an in-context view of what was occurring in our FlexReports system. Additionally, we will add the ability to apply notifications, subscriptions, and policies that will allow users to report directly to their teams.
Our private beta will initially consist of 50 customers of specific parameters to help exhaustively test the system. All other entrants will be allowed into the private beta after our initial performance, usability, and quality testing concludes.
If you are interested in participating in this private beta, please contact your CloudHealth Technical Account Manager to determine eligibility.
