Allocate Across Groups (Pin Accounts) Cost Reallocation Rule (Classic Experience)

Customers can now choose to allocate across perspective groups while maintaining the account assignment of the original cost. Previously, when moving cost across Perspective Groups, the account associated with the cost would change to the account associated with the destination Perspective Group. With the pin accounts option, the cost will move but the account will remain the same. 

For example, if you wish to allocate enterprise support from a payer account to multiple linked accounts, and would like to show where the cost originated from, select this new option to assign the cost but keep the account pinned to the payer.

Smart Summary Exports (New Experience)

CSV Export is now live on the Cost Change tab in Smart Summary. Customers can now export the list of service level cost changes by clicking the action button on the datagrid view.

Interactive Chart View (New Experience)

Clicking on reports that contain a chart will now launch an interactive view. This allows users to customize the visualization by selecting different measures and dimensions for the X and Y axes, as well as the chart category. Users can also modify the chart type and apply filters.

Search and Organize Datasets (New Experience)

Report datasets are now searchable and are pre-organized by type making it easy to find relevant datasets.

UI Changes, Updates, and Fixes

• Asset graph account selector will no longer reset selections after re-opening it 

• Reduced number of queries for subsequent page loads to slightly speed up load time in the new experience 

• Increased minimum grid column size on Cost History (new experience) to make it less likely that cells need to overflow 

• Fixed an issues that would cause filter panel options to have an empty name 

• New experience browser tab page titles that were just "CloudHealth" are now page-specific 

• Event grid tab, cost column filter, sort, and column selections will persist when switching to and from the "Cost Change" grid and through browser page refresh on Smart Summary

• Custom report widget will show a message when the widget is unconfigured instead of a generic error when configuring dashboards

• The Effective Savings Rate (ESR) widget has been moved to a new Cost Efficiency section within the Realized Savings dashboard, with improved, readable names now available in the service filter

• Only supported SQL functions will autocomplete in the SQL editor

• Fix - Measures and Dimensions are displayed in alphabetical order

• Search functionality is now supported within filters on the Realized Savings dashboard

• The Add Dimensions/Filter panel now provides a more intuitive experience:

  • Dimensions and Measure names are nested, making them clearly visible for report creation.

  • Tags are easily identifiable as their own distinct category of dimensions ("Tag") alongside "All," "Standard," and "Other."
