We are excited to announce the public beta for Azure support in FlexReports for partners! This highly anticipated enhancement provides a flexible, customizable way to analyze data from your Azure bill across any variable based on the criteria that you define. To access, in the left hand navigation, expand the Reports section and select FlexReports. When creating a new report or editing existing reports on this page, you can select "Azure Cost Management (BETA)" as your data source to get the complete benefits of the Azure dataset.

We are announcing the public beta for a unified Azure dataset in FlexReports. This new dataset supports the following Azure Agreements: Enterprise Agreement, Microsoft Customer Agreement, Modern Commerce CSP and Pay-as-you-Go. Customers can find this new dataset, titled ‘Azure Cost Management’, under the ‘Datasource’ dropdown.
Additionally, users can now apply Azure Perspectives in FlexReports, giving Azure users greater control over the reporting interface.
Lastly, we are introducing the following quality improvements for Azure FlexReports, which aim to make the reporting interface more consumable, flexible, and accurate:
This new dataset is backed by the Azure Cost Management APIs, improving the reliability and breadth of data available.
For EA and MCA agreement types, we are adding support for Amortized cost in addition to actual cost, which can be differentiated using column `MetricType`
This dataset supports currency conversion. The "CostInReportingCurrency" column captures the cost in the configured currency. This dataset also explains the math behind each conversion by exposing the "CostInBillingCurrency" and "ExchangeRateToReportingCurrency" columns.
We've added support for Savings Plans in the new dataset, which can be found under "reservationId" and "reservationName".

We are excited to announce a private beta for Kubernetes (usage-based) Rightsizing based on our new rightsizing framework. The new feature provides recommendations for container requests based on usage for CPU and memory.
We’re currently rolling out to a limited set of private beta customers to complete validation and testing. As part of this private beta, customers will be required to deploy a new version of the CloudHealth Kubernetes Agent on their clusters. Private Beta is currently available for users on AWS, and we plan to add support for more clouds as part of future enhancements. If you’re interested in participating, please contact your Technical Account Manager to determine eligibility.

CloudHealth now supports deleting Azure Snapshots through our policy engine. This action is now available when selecting the Azure “Snapshot” resource type. To use this policy action, you will need to add the following permission: Microsoft.Compute/snapshots/delete.

Customers can now select the London and Ireland AWS Regions as the origin point for the Test Access API call type when configuring their AWS Accounts. This allows customers more flexibility when determining the region they want CloudHealth to authenticate and validate permissions for data collection. We recommend that customers select a region that is not blocked or limited by things such as AWS Control Tower or other policy engines.
In Anomaly Detection, users can now easily export and share list of anomalies, including details based on the filters selected. Additionally, this list can also be emailed in cases of larger volumes.
On March 6, 2023, AWS will be retiring AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) actions for the Billing, Cost Management, and Account Consoles under the service prefix “aws-portal” and two actions under purchase order namespace, “purchase-orders:ViewPurchaseOrders” and “purchase-orders:ModifyPurchaseOrders”.
CloudHealth does not utilize these service prefixes for data collection. CloudHealth has removed these permissions from the policy template to provide the least privileged access we need. We expect no interruption in service and for all data collection to continue as normal after this change has been made. Customers who wish to remove these permissions can either do so directly in the AWS Console or download the latest policy template found here.
On March 15, 2023, we will be deprecating the AWS CloudTrail report. We expect no downtime in customer environments while we make this change.
